About Blue Quanta

We're a small software company, and we only build for problems we've lived. Each of our apps started as something our own family needed.

Where we come from

Blue Quanta grew out of Atlantic Blueberry Co. in Hammonton, New Jersey, the farm our family has run for four generations, since brothers Duke and Bill Galletta bought its first five acres in 1935. Today it is one of the largest highbush blueberry operations in the world. Writing the software that kept our crews and customers safe, while keeping the farm’s agronomic practices efficient, taught us how we like to build: close to the work, for the people doing it.

What we've built

  • Logri: compliance and field records for specialty-crop farms, built from the software we wrote for our own. Now live, with a 14-day free trial.

  • Croft: the tool we’re using to get ourselves out of debt, grown from the spreadsheet we kept by hand. Public beta, with a 14-day free trial.

  • Piano Pals: daily practice quests we made to get our son to the piano. Free on iPad and iPhone.

How we work

  • Small and focused: each app does one job, for one kind of person, well.

  • Honest about where things stand: if something is in beta, we say so.

  • We use what we build. If it doesn't work for our family, it doesn't ship.
